I have created departments for our organization (Under Locations and Departments) and would like to users to pick their department when they create a ticket. I have set Departments to All under request type, but somehow when user create a ticket it doesn't ask them to select their department. I had a ticket open with the support (#00294613) and support found out that it is not working and requested me to submit the feature request.
I would like to have a ticket for a few request types that user needs to select their department so that department approval can kick-in. Other request we don't want them to select the department which doesn't need any approval.
Can you please add this as a feature in your future release or let me know if this can be configured using the current release 12.6
