I've been currently working with the aforementioned for about just over a month.  My initial thoughts are all positive but fumbling through makes it feel like the trek to Mordor was a leisurely stroll through the park!  Out of the gate- You're hit with tons of (very useful) information and it becomes daunting to weed through it all.  After some time- I just decided to remove all of the widgets from my summary page and add a few at a time to see what they did; leaving what I liked and removing others.  I also have the added pressure to take my finding back to the management team and learn enough to become the "subject matter expert" when we go live.  The expectation is that this should be in place and complete by the end of October.  Yeah....Next month.  Think I'll just settle for the "Subject Matter I-kinda-know-what-I'm-doing" at this point. 


Obviously- I'm not the first person to feel this way but I wonder how others tackled this responsibility.  Personally- I read everything I can get my hands on and ask a million questions to our rep, my management team, team members and know the community at large.  All while ignoring the fact that I feel like a Hobbit in the middle of a huge battle.
