Is there a way to monitor the POE output on a Cisco Switch? I've had several ports just drop POE and the only way that I knew about it was when the desktop phone went out.
Thanks in advance!!
Todd
So my first thought is a custom SNMP poller if you can find the OID that gives you the metrics you want to see. I found some threads on Thwack discussing how to monitor those ports. It looks like someone replied to this question about a month ago with a similar answer to use a UnDP, I'm not sure if you saw that? Outside of a custom poller, I do not know of any OOTB feature to address this specifically, so the UnDP may be the best bet. Here are a few of the threads I found, I hope they give you some assistance!
