Hello Team,

Greetings!

I have observed a message on several nodes stating "Node status is Critical, Physical Memory Critical," as illustrated in the snapshot below.

I have already overridden the node platform's general thresholds as per company requirements, but I am still encountering the same error. Could anyone assist me in pinpointing the precise cause and process to resolve this issue?

SW Platform Version Is: 2024.2.0

Few node's physical memories are always between 95% to 97%

Could be that the system is pointing to a wrong mem, it happends to me once that the system was pointing to a diferent value, my advice is to do a snmp walk and compare with the web device value and be…

would it be more appropriate to alert of these are *low* memory, IE: something is not running that you expect to?

As per the criteria set, I should get the warning after crossing the set limit, but I am always getting msg like "Physical Memory Is critical"

I've seen people report on thwack in the past that their status text didn't update appropriately and got stuck. Have you rebooted your system since you noticed this issue?

Yes, and we perform monthly reboots for all the servers after applying the patches.

Could be that the system is pointing to a wrong mem, it happends to me once that the system was pointing to a diferent value, my advice is to do a snmp walk and compare with the web device value and be sure you are pointing to the rigth mem info
