I am curious... and would like know if anyone is actively using the SolarWinds platform to monitor networked assets that constantly move, like semi trucks, delivery vehicles, nascars, robots that move around a warehouse, fleet of drones, etc. What devices are being monitored, how are they networked, how are they polled, what information is pulled, and how are they being displayed?

Many medical vehicles have full networks installed including routers/switches because a lot of the medical equipment inside is ethernet connected. We don't monitor them for Up/Down but we do collect SNMP… -
