I get the following error when I put in the RW SNMP. "Test Failed. Specified SNMP community string is read-only."
I was able to reproduce this issue in our lab when I tried to use the tool with a device that did not support the IP SLA operations. The error message the tool gives incorrectly in this case is that the SNMP credentials are read-only.
To verify if the device supports IP SLA operations you may want to try and connect to the device through Telnet/SSH session by running the following command
ip sla show statistics
If this command works then the device should support the IP SLA operations. If not the device will not work with this tool.
If you are getting this error with a device that supports IP SLA operations then please get me a packet capture so I can try and diagnose it further.
Just want to ask if the SSH on the IPSLA will also work on routers supporting the ip rtr command? Because we're having an issue with some of our devices. We have installed putty on the Orion server, using ssh it worked but for the ssh on IPSLA, it did not worked, it's test failed.
