There is no CDR data returned from the server

I created a new ftp server and directed cdr logs from Cisco CUCM v8.6.2 to write to this location.  CDR only, no CMR, set continuous.  I see many files 17 after 20min or so.  But Call Detail Record Tracker always returns "There is no CDR data returned from the server".  The tests pass fine, I have tried add and removing forward slash with no changes.  What steps can I take to diagnose further.  I did enable verbose, but there are no visible errors

  • yes

Here are the first two rows.  Is there any managerid or nodeid that I should erase before posting the data?

  • We need the application log. It is stored in c:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\CallDetailRecordTracker\

  • It is working correct when I checked yesterday.  Perhaps I needed over 24 or CDR data before the analysis tool could load properly.  Thank you for your time.

  • I am having the same issue after setting this up yesterday. I setup CCM 8.6 / serviceability/ Tools/ CDR Management and added a Billing Application server.  I sent this to an SFTP server on another server.

In CDR Tracker, I setup the settings the same as how I output them in CCM - Same SFTP server, ID/PWD and folder. When I run the test it passes. When I click Save it says no CDR Data available.

I was going to attach a log file from the folder listed above, but I am not seeing an application log.

    Any ideas?

    Pete

  • My bad! I didn't read the path correctly.  I am attaching hte log file now!

  • The log shows that getting file attributes from FTP server failed, but it does not provide any specific details. Can you look in FTP logs, or packet captures of traffic between the app and FTP server to see whether there are any errors?

  • I ran it again and copied the part of the log to this text file. I changed ip and login names but you'll see what they are called within the txt file. From what I can see it logs in ok, and seems to show the files.

I will attach my sftp log file now. I will also copy the folder to my computer, which has a SW SFTP server on it.  I will change my CDR Tracker to use this location and see if that makes a difference.

    OK?

    Thanks for the help!

    Pete

  • I ran it on my local SFTP. It sure looks like it sees the folder and files. But I must be missing something. Am I outputting incorrectly from CCM?

  • I had my local SFTP settings set to find calls in last 30 minutes.  I changed it to Last day and was able to get results.

I changed my sftp server back to my remote server that I started with and it still will not get the files.  So my sftp server and pointer must be the issue as I think I proved copying them locally and using a different sftp server worked.

I will check the remote servers sftp server settings and what I can find.
