View-Master is the trademark name of a line of special-format stereoscopes and corresponding View-Master "reels", which are thin cardboard disks containing seven Stereoscopic 3-D pairs of small transparent color photographs on film.

Lite-Brite is a toy that consists of a light box with small colored plastic pegs that fit into a panel and illuminate to create a lit picture, by either using one of the included templates or creating a "freeform" image on a blank sheet of black paper.

Easy choice the View Master was a glimpse into what 3D could be.

That might be there most OCD thing I've read regarding a kid's toy, and I approve wholeheartedly. Those little pegs were notorious for randomly disappearing.

I enjoyed my Lite-Brite, but after not being able to find where certain colors went in the living room, I wished that I also had a tackle box or a pill organizer as well.

- View-Master: Always on provided you have bright lights, taught about sharing via swapping reels with friends, "Not my parents Kodak slide projector"
- Lite-Brite: Worked in low light settings, intro to creativity via color by numbers and/or create yourself, "Holy h3ll that incandescent light gets volcano hot"
