I have 10 times as many memories around G.I. Joe than stretch Armstrong. I remember taking apart my Joe's and recombining in different ways. I had so many battles in the back yard with those little figures…

I only know G.I. Joe from the movie. I remember playing with General Patch and his weapons with the smell of battle.

I have a few of the Fresh Faces G.I. Joe guys in OG G.I. Joe size. They were the "Hall of Fame" series figures. I liked the 3 3/4 size better,

Now if this was OG G. I. Joe (12" ~ circa 1960's) vs NKOTB G. I. Joe (3.75" ~ circa 1980), the debate would be epic.

I could say the same for the various versions of Stretch, but he was almost always a puddle of goo within hours of it coming into the house. We blamed the dog, and we didn't even have a dog.
