They’re on a “mission from God” to save the orphanage they were raised in, putting the band back together with some shenanigans along the way. It’s dark, they’re wearing sunglasses, and they’re running from the law—“Joliet” Jake and Elwood Blues will bring down whatever house they’re in with epic guests at every stop

Jessie and the Rippers

From: Full House
Genre: Classic Rock and Pop Covers
Members: “Uncle” Jessie Katsopolis

Hello, Uncle Jessie... really, need we say more? Jessie and the Rippers was Uncle Jessie’s first band on Full House and is known for providing the S.F. club scene with ample covers of Beach Boys and Elvis Presley covers. Jessie eventually gets booted from the band because he’s more committed to the family life, but we will always have “Forever.”

  • Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark out, and we're wearing sunglasses.
    Joliet Jake: Hit it!

Elwood: And remember, people, that no matter who you are and what you do to live, thrive and survive, there're still some things that makes us all the same. You. Me. Them. Everybody. Everybody.

[Elwood Blues Jake Blues has a fight over the police car Elwood Blues got after he traded away the original bluesmobile for a microphone]
    Elwood: You don't like it?
Jake: No I don't like it...
[Elwood Blues floors the pedal and jumps over an open drawbridge]
Jake: Car's got a lot of pickup.

Elwood: It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

[a brief thinking pause while Jake attempts to light a cigarette]

    Jake: Fix the cigarette lighter.

  • Lucky seeding. Weakest region for Jessie and the Rippers. No way are they a final four band.

  • I unfortunately voted for Jessie as he was better than the competition he faces but he should not have gotten up this far. Spinal Tap would have seen them drop out early.

  • Apparently sentiment goes just as far as humor and music. How many of us grew up watching FH? Slight smile
