[ROUND OF 32] Dewey Cox vs. Spinal Tap

Dewey Cox

From: Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story
Genre: Country (mostly)
Members: Dewey Cox and band
Sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lOW2IjpM-4
Dewey Cox learned to play by ear (even though he lost his sense of smell) and started playing the blues young after he cut his brother in half with a machete. Thus began a wild ride through a long life of love, loss, success, failure, drugs, multiple music genres, and double marriage. This wild ride inspired a lot of music—good and bad—and taught Dewey to walk hard.

Spinal Tap

From: This is Spinal Tap
Genre: Rock
Members: David St. Hubbins, Nigel Tufnel, Viv Savage, Derek Smalls, Mick Shrimpton
Sample: “Tonight We’re Gonna Rock You Tonight” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gESFElAOpQ)
<Put obligatory “it goes to 11” joke here> From the granddaddy of all mockumentaries, the titular band captured the pomp, the irony, and the hilarity of bands and their antics from a certain era.
