Dewey Cox learned to play by ear (even though he lost his sense of smell) and started playing the blues young after he cut his brother in half with a machete. Thus began a wild ride through a long life of love, loss, success, failure, drugs, multiple music genres, and double marriage. This wild ride inspired a lot of music—good and bad—and taught Dewey to walk hard.
