Palo Alto Networks PA-4050

This is a Device Template for the Palo Alto Networks PA-4050 Firewall. It was detected by NCM as SystemOID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.8.0. Generic template was modified w/ basic functions such as: turning off the screen pause function when viewing the running config, showing the config, downloading config, version info, etc…

Still a work in progress but it at least gets the job done. Feel free to add-on.

I am running Kiwi CatTools 3.2.16 on Win 2003 Enterprise,
can this PA-4050 be added into my version of CatTools so I can backup my PA-5020 devices?

I am backing up the PaloAlto devices as Model: Cisco 2600 using SSH2.

The scheduled task is of type: Device.CLI.send.commands with the following command:
set cli pager off
show config running
set cli pager on

I use a bat file to process the back up files through ExamDiff Pro 5.5 to generate the delta reports.

How did you get this working on the 2050's? Telnet, SSH1/2 or.. I worked with Solarwinds techsupport and couldnt get the ssh1/2 working for downloading the configs.

Thank you so much for sharing your template for Palo Alto!!!
I really appreciate it! I have been looking for a template that works for 6-months now and I just found yours and it works wonderfully!
I have been able to download all the configs of all of my PA-4050's, 5020, and 200's.
