    Troubleshooting steps

Detail troubleshooting steps (common for template)

    • Use UPN format (username@domain) and not domain\username format to enter credentials. Also, a service account for Exchange Web Services is recommended to avoid authentication issues when passwords are updated.
    • The authentication required is O365 global administrator and a service account is recommended to avoid issues with authentication when passwords are updated.

Detail troubleshooting steps (specific for components)

The statistic values and their names follow:

    • 0 = Service Interruption
    • 1 = Service Degradation
    • 2 = Restoring Service
    • 3 = Extended Recovery
    • 4 = Investigating
    • 5 = Service Restored
    • 6 = False Positive
    • 7 = PIR Published
    • 8 = Information Unavailable
    • 99 = Service Operational
    • 100 = No Data Assuming Up

Note: The number of events available is entirely up to Microsoft and doesn’t appear to be configurable as of this writing so if there is no information available the component will fall back to “No Data Assuming Up.”
