The monitor attempts to establish a connection to the URL specified in the script arguments (default = monitored node's FQDN). If a valid certificate matching the specified hostname is found, the monitor returns the number of days remaining until the certificate expires. The monitor will attempt to extract a certificate from the web server response regardless of the HTTP response code (responses other than 200/OK can still include a valid certificate).
