This monitor uses a non-root account to monitor service status on RHEL/CentOS 5/6 systems with the /sbin/service command. Please see PREREQUISITES below for proper operation.
PREREQUISITES
1. On the monitored client, use visudo to give the user <USER> rights to run the /sbin/service command under sudo. Otherwise, the results are mixed, as some services create /var/run/*.pid files that are unreadable without elevated privileges, and thus the check will fail.
2. Use the same <USER> credentials here to run this monitor
