Buffalo TeraStation Pollers

    Custom SNMP pollers to monitor Buffalo TeraStations.

     

    Array Pollers

     

    • nasArrayStatus. Indicates the current RAID mode/status of an array. Returned values: Not Supported, No RAID Configured, RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6, RAID 10, RAID 50, RAID 51, RAID 60, RAID 61.

    • nasArrayCapacity. The capacity of the RAID array in Gigabytes. The capacity cannot be obtained if the RAID array is not configured, not mounted, has LVM enabled, or configured as an iSCSI volume.  In such cases, the value -1 will be returned by the device.

    • nasArrayUsed. Indicates what percentage of the RAID array capacity has been used.  The array usage cannot be obtained if the RAID array is not configured, not mounted, has LVM enabled, or  configured as an iSCSI volume.  In such cases, the value -1 will be returned by the device.

    Disk Pollers

     

    • nasDiskStatus. The current state of a NAS drive. Returned values: Unknown, Normal, Member of Array 3, Member of Array 4, Media Cartridge, Member of Array 5, Member of Array 6, Member of Array 1, Member of Array 2, Hot Spare / Normal, Removed from Array, Dismounted / Plugged, Hot Spare / Dismounted, Failed, Unplugged.

    • nasDiskSMARTCurrentPendingSectorValue. S.M.A.R.T. Current Pending Sector Attribute.

    • nasDiskSMARTOfflineUncorrectableValue. S.M.A.R.T. Offline Uncorrectable Sectors Attribute.

    Logical Volumes Pollers

     

    • nasLVCapacity. Indicates the capacity of a logical volume. The capacity cannot be obtained if the logical volume is configured as an iSCSI volume.  In that case, the value -1 will be returned by the device.

    • nasLVName. Name of a logical volume.

    • nasLVUsed. Indicates what percentage of a logical volume has been used. The usage cannot be obtained if the logical volume is configured as an iSCSI volume. In that case, the value -1 will be returned by the device.

    iSCSI Volumes Pollers

     

    • nasISCSIName. Name of an iSCSI volume.

    • nasiSCSIStatus. The connection status of an iSCSI volume. Returned values: Unknown, Connected, Standing By.

    System Health Pollers

     

    • nasErrorMsg. Codes indicating that an error occurred. See the manual for the model of your NAS for more information about error codes.

    • nasInformationMsg. Codes representing warnings or status messages. See the manual for the model of your NAS for more information about status codes.

    • nasFailoverStatus. Current failover status. Returned values: Idle, Busy, Starting Main, Starting Backup, Stopping, Initializing.

    • nasFailoverRole. The role of the NAS during failover. Returned values: Standalone, EM Mode, Alone Backup, Main, Maintenance Main, Alone Main, Maintenance Backup, Backup.

    • nasSerialNumber. The TeraStation’s serial number.

    • nasIsFwUpdateAvailable. Indicates if a firmware update is available for the monitored TeraStation. Returned Values: Yes, No, Unknown.

    • nasRPSUStatus. Indicates the status of the redundant power supply unit of a TeraStation, if supported by the monitored model.  Returned Values: Fine, Unknown, Broken.
