Nerding out. I was discussing binary and "anding" and ASC II code. We used to half to know this stuff to write code, the BIOS control Unit does it for you now. You can still dot it though, here is how:
To insert an ASCII character, press and hold down ALT while typing the character code. For example, to insert the degree (º) symbol, press and hold down ALT while typing 0176 on the numeric keypad. Note: You must use the numeric keypad to type the numbers and not the keyboard.
Also cool is that these can be remapped which is how we get alphabets with different characters!
