IPAM: Alert me when BAD_Address Appears on a Given Subnet

Microsoft DHCP Servers spit out BAD_Address for the DHCP Name. This Alert is designed to help you know about the issue, but also Respond.

To Import The Alert: Settings> Manage Reports> Export/Import> Import Report.

Note: You will need to go into Alert Trigger and Reset Action to change the Email Address, SMTP Server, and CHange the Website URL.

     Search for http://<SWServer> and replace with the URL you want users to login through.

     Also this Alert has Integration Links to User Device Tracker and NetFlow Traffic Analyzer. This is so you can identify location and traffic the IP is/had utilized.

The Alert is designed to let you know when the Bad IP Occurs and generates the following Sample Email with Integration Links:

BAD IP Address Detected on the Subnet Named $SubnetName

IP Subnet: $Subnet 10.0.0.0

IP Address Details gathered:

IP Address Identified: $IP
MAC Address: $MAC
Vendor based on Reported MAC: $Vendor

      Suggested Resolution: Select Link Below, then select Edit, select the checkbox to Remove Reservation on DHCP Server, then select Submit.
