For some reason on one of our Cisco ASA Firewalls (the one with IOS 8.4) when we click the NCM 'Test' button the test begins, it passes the username but hangs at the password prompt and eventually times out.
Through some testing, we found that simply adding the <Command Name="CustomPasswordPrompt" Value="Password: "/> to the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance template and change to that template on the node fixes the problem.
