Fortigate CPU & MEM for Single unit

Hello Chaps,

I have created a custom poller for Fortigates to be natively support by 10.7 when you select the resources.

To import this navigate to Settings > Manage Pollers > Import

Expected results

Hope you find this useful.

Also if anyone is able to get one working for units that work in HA that would be great, I am currently struggling alot to get this working as the Multi processor option for these pollers still expect a single value for MEMORY when you would expect to recieve two for HA.

All the best

  • Hi,

    This is great.. Thanks.

I have applied this to a Fortigate 600c unit.. One prob im seeing now is memory is different to what is shown on the native dashboard.

    CPU seems to be identical

Will keep it running for a bit to see if memory usage becomes accurate..

  • amalw,

You may want to alternatively try this poller:

    Fortigate CPU & Memory Poller

As I believe memory usage is being accurately captured with it - Hope it may help.

(I can't speak to your environment of course, or the poller that Ashley so kindly provided but I do see the calculations that are used in the templates are different.)

    Cheers!

  • Hi Marek,

I applied the new poller today.. & it seems to be working fine.. Mem & CPU

    both looks accurate.

Thanks a ton for getting this across to me.. Really appreciate it.

    Thanks,

  • Excellent - Glad to hear it amalw!

(And thanks for your response, it helps verify it's working accurately in other environments than my own.)
