AIX File Existence Monitor is written with ssh login and in Perl script. Change the location of the file in the command line of which you are looking to see when it exists. We set up the alert for statistical data, numeric to go off when it does not equal 0. Set up the trigger as APM:Component, with application name, component name then with statistic data(numeric).
