Realtime change detection with Cisco CSS?

Does anyone's real-time change detection when using Cisco CSS solutions work? We have a syslog trigger of:

MESSAGE:
*%SYS-5-CONFIG*, *executed the 'write memory' command*, *cmd: wr mem*

ACTION:
"E:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Configuration Management\ConfigAutoDownload.exe" ${IP}

However, when we make a configuration change and a syslog with "cmd: wr mem" is logged (verified in NPM syslog viewer), no changes are noticed. Does this work for anyone else?
