Cirrusv4.0 SNMPv3 inventory failure Cisco 2600

Anyone,

I am experiencing a problem where all of my 2621XM's will not allow me to inventory them with SNMPv3. I can inventory all of my Cisco 2950 switches with SNMPv3 just fine. Also I am using Orion 8.5.1SP with SNMPv3 for these devices and that works fantastically. If I change the snmp credentials the error message that the wrong key has been provided comes up, but when it is the right key it just says "Does not respond to SNMP queries". I had called support twice before holidays but haven't heard back and wanted to know if anyone else had been having this issue. IOS is 12.4(17) ADVENTERPRISEK9-M.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated except go back to SNMPv2 it is either 3 for me or it has to be off something about securtiy with the sha and the des and all.
