Triggering Alert over and over

Is it possible to have the same alert triggered over and over? For example, one of our store routers goes down at noon and the node down alert is triggered and sent via email. Is there a way to have the same alert triggered every hour until the router comes back up?

As always, I may be wrong, but the answer is no.

How's that for confidence?

At this time it is not possible to have an alert continually spawn until the alert condition is fixed.

I understand that the kids at SW are working on adding this functionality into the next revision of the alert engine.
