Polling from behind NAT/PAT

We need to deploy another polling engine but can't poll from a different IP. Is it possible to let two polling engines poll ICMP and SNMP from behind a NAT-Router? Has anyone a working setup polling 5000+ items like this?

Reason is that most of the devices polled have an ACL configured only permitting our current IP...changing to another IP or range is not possible.
