Hello everyone.
I'm trying to generate a report but just for a specific set of nodes on the network (basically all iOS switches + routers)
I basically want to exclude all Cisco ASA 5505, 5520 and Nexus 5000 series and Nexus 7000 series devices.
I created a policy and attached some rules to it. then under the policy configuration I thought I had configured the types of nodes to run the report for.... It looks to me like it is set up correctly, however when the report runs all of the devices I thought I excluded still show up. It is very annoying because the rules are all written for iOS, and not NX-OS or the ASA operating system, so they always give false policy failures.
Later I want to make another policy but only include Nexus specific rules, and the same idea for the ASA. So I'm going to need to filter for those two policies as well...
So what am I doing wrong here?
I've included a screen shot of the configuration.
If I'm reading this correctly it looks like is says "Run the report for nodes as long as it is not a Cisco ASA 5505, or a Cisco ASA 5520, or a Cisco Nexus 5548, or a Cisco Nexus 7000 series."
