This Thursday, September 9th from 10:00 to 10:30 CDT, we're going to be hosting a streamlive "Geek2Geek" session and video chat with David Davis from VMWareVideos.com. Our Geek2Geek sessions are a new series where we'll be chatting with other senior technologists from around the world on what they're seeing in the industry and picking their brains for best practices.

As I mentioned, this week we're chatting with David Davis from VMWareVideos.com. David is a noted expert in the fields of virtualization, systems engineering, administration, and management, and infrastructure. We'll be doing a recap of what we each learned last week at VM World in San Francisco and discussing trends within the virtualization space. Some of what we'll cover will include:

  • How organizations are managing virtual infrastructure capacity planning & forecasting
  • Tools for managing VMWare environments and how they're evolving
  • Best practices and recommended learning for managing virtual environments

This will be a live video broadcast and discussion so don't miss it. You can sign up here. As a side note, we're testing out a new platform - Ustream.tv  Let us know how you like it!

Thanks and I look forward to chatting with you and hearing your questions.
