Community Wildcard: THWACKSTER OF THE YEAR
This award is for those THWACKsters out there who have really gone above and beyond with their contributions to the community. It could be someone who always has something great to add to the conversation, someone who always has the best new feature ideas, or someone who really saved their fellow THWACKster’s bacon.
For this award you can nominate yourself or others. Please add any relevant links to THWACK posts as further evidence of why you or your nominee should win this award.
As anyone who’s made a spectroscope with sunglasses, nail polish remover, and a lamp can tell you, having feature-rich tools are the key to innovation. This award goes to the person who combined their wits, resourcefulness, and (of course) SolarWinds® tools to form an innovative solution. Share the story of how you improvised using SolarWinds to either evade or escape a problem at work. Accepting submissions September 11-29, 2017.

NetPath™ Less TakenTwo paths appeared on a pale white screen Each presented for me to pick But with just one monitor, only one was seen So the choice was, “On which should I click?” I shall be telling this with a sigh At the post-mortem, when I make my defense Two paths appeared on the screen, and I— I took the one less clicked, the status to spy, And that has made all the difference.
If you are a NetPath trailblazer, this award is for you! Tell us a tale (it doesn’t need to rhyme!) of a time you used NetPath to discover something unexpected or to prove a theory others doubted. Accepting submissions September 11-29, 2017.
