Update: We've reached the 30 recommendations needed. Thank you for your participation!
We are in need of a favor. We need your participation to help us retain our Microsoft Core Competency levels that help us continue to develop our software solutions. If you are game, we need you to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The email you provide will only be used to ensure you receive the email below from Microsoft. In a short time, you will receive an email from Microsoft much like the following. The first 30 people who complete the customer reference request will receive a $50 Visa gift card. The recommendation must be completed by August 29th, 2014.
Customer Reference Request
A business partner that has worked with you has requested your organization provide a customer reference to help them meet one of the Microsoft competency requirements.
To qualify for a Microsoft competency, Microsoft partners must demonstrate their experience by providing customer references for recently completed projects. We recognize partners who achieve Microsoft silver or gold competencies according to proven capabilities, or skills in delivering specific industry solutions. This enables customers like you to easily identify solution providers whose experience and skills best match your business needs.
We appreciate your assistance in approving this customer reference for your business partner. Please access, review, and verify the information.
The details of your response will be confidential, and will not be shared with your business partner. Your organization’s name will not be used publicly as a reference without your permission.
If you have any questions regarding this email, please contact your business partner.
The Microsoft Partner Network Team
After you have received the email and filled out the questionnaire from Microsoft, please let us know.
These are the gold competencies we are looking to renew:
- Application Development competency can help you leverage the unprecedented opportunity presented by the Windows Server and Windows 8 operating systems, the Windows Azure platform, Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 development system, and emerging cloud-based and web business models.
- Midmarket Solution Provider competency, you differentiate your organization by demonstrating your expertise in providing critical infrastructure solutions, based on the most current Microsoft desktop, business-management, and server technologies, that are tailored to help midmarket businesses with their unique challenges.
- OEM competency can help open new markets for the PCs and servers that you deliver.
Though we don’t have a strict deadline, we need to secure these recommendations as soon as possible. If you could keep an eye out and then respond as soon as you receive the email, it would be very much appreciated.
Thank you for your time and participation.
