The main idea for us to deploy EOC is capacity. It would be nice if I could take nodes from one orion core to another. It's really a matter of adding the node to the new system and exporting the historical data.

It would be nice to have a feature to correlate and reduce high volume of events and alerts from Solarwinds products also integrate data source feeds from other vendor products. Example: Splunk, AppDynamics etc.. Example: RightITNow HP OMi IBM/Netcool SaaS Solutions: Big Panda Incident.MOOG
Please add an EOC resource for Hardware monitoring - this is critical information from our Orion pollers and currently it makes more sense to have employees simultaneously look at three Orion web pages than a single EOC webpage due to this resource missing and critical information perhaps going by unseen. It was mentioned on the product blog at link below, but did not seem to make it into 1.5. EOC - What We Are Working On
It would be great if we could have NCM Widgets in the EOC like: - Backed-up Devices vs Not Backed-up - Startup vs. Running Config Conflicts - .... They should represent the Status of all Sites combined. A site-specific widget would be great as well but we could live with this by logging in to the site directly.
Currently, our ServiceNow integration resides at the NPM level and not the EOC. I’d like it at the EOC level since I will have close to 50 separate NPM instances feeding into the EOC. I don’t want to create 50 separate integrations into ServiceNow for incident creation.
This should include all reach down into all Orion DB's for that data so that reports or views can be built on the health of large Orion installations.
Once the EOC is installed, there needs to be a better way to tie NodeID's. This could also be used for other reports that are not global. It could be something as a new able with siteID - NodeID. This would make reporting and SWQL writing simpler Thank you
I want to know if the NPM can have a login screen like the Orion NPM or the WHD products. You can leave the AD integration but it would be great if you didn't have something potentially customer facing that was so... inconvenient. Especially since we want to integrate the EOC into a custom website with the WHD in order to give customers a single pane of glass type view.
Currently you need to specify either a generic user for your sites to pull infos via SWIS to the EOC or have your users update their passwords every time they change it in the Admin console see the discussion about it here EOC Pass through Authentication It is much needed for Enterprises (yes this word is also part of the Product name) to have control over the authentication. So a proper pass through authentication with your logged on AD Account on the EOC is needed. It would be fine if yo …
We are constantly battling an issue with automated security policy updates restricting permissions on the following directories used by the EOC: C:\Windows\Temp\SolarWinds\NetworkAtlas\EOC\SolarWinds\NetworkAtlas\MapsWeb\EOC\localhost C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files These are on the system drive (C:) which is subject to periodic inspection by the security policy compliance tools used by our Windows admins and security teams to check and set company …
