if these two tools worked together seamlessly, we would have an ausome power tool to fix issues, and then zero in on them the two tools complement each other

SolarWinds, it would be so amazing if the Toolset Integration works with Maps. Let me explain, when you right click a node that is listed on a Summary Page, Top Page, etc.. you end up getting a submenu with all the tools and actions available for that node (i.e.: ssh / telnet), the problem is, when you have a Map with a topology (and most of the network guys like me do have) and your nodes are there, you just cant do anything from that beautiful topology . Please we do need integration working w …
Hi, NPM currently provides Multicast monitoring. However, we find multicast troubleshooting still fairly complex ..It would be good to have a Multicast Troubleshooting tab that incorporates the following - 1. Check Multicast Source 2. Check Multicast Network 3. Check Multicast Receivers Source / Reciver checks - show ip igmp groups show ip mroute Network checks - show ip pim neighbor show ip pim rp mapping mtrace mstat mping Some of these basic features could be a part of Eng …
The old toolset had "WAN killer" but it had limited features. It would be nice to have a packet generator with more customizable options. For example, an admin could specify ports, source/dest, plus things like alter the payload and frame size. We've currently been testing MTUs across the enterprise and would like to be able to test in the lab. But since we don't have a packet generator that allows granular modifications, we aren't able to mimic production traffic.
Solarwinds NPM allows us to utilize AES256, but the toolset will not. This is something that should be relatively easy to rectify from Solarwinds. Why allow increased security in one area, and reduced in another?
An IP range must be at least two contiguous IP addresses -- it is impossible to add a single IP address because the interface complains that the "ending IP address must be greater than the starting IP address." It shouldn't have to be. In lieu of a way to enter a single host address, the software should allow the "ending IP" to be greater than or equal to the "starting IP". My version is 10.9.1.33.
With Engineering Toolsets v11 hitting GA with Toolsets on the Web. It would be really cool if one could Telnet or SSH from the Web instead of opening the Telnet or SSH client locally on your PC.
