The new Orion Remote Collector (ORC) is great. We are using it in a NAM platform, but is not posible to manage IPs in an isolated subnet where the ORC is installed. It would be nace, even necesary, to be able to use this collector to ping those IPs.
I read an article that when an IP address is discovered as active via the subnet scan it will perform a reverse lookup to get the hostname. As not all devices will have an entry in DNS, Can you look at the following configurable options? 1. Orion node (from discovery) lookup, to get hostname and populate the hostname field…
Can we have native connection support and integration with Cisco ISE, and Cisco DNA Center? This integration should allow for automation and some type of step-by-step wizard.
In the previous version of IPAM, IP Address requests were automatically processed, without the need for an administrator to first approve the request. Please consider adding this as an option to select automatic approvals of new requests.
PCI Auditors are requiring an alert notification is sent to Security every time a new IP address is used in PCI subnet in IPAM.
I'm not sure how the order is determined when you select the option "Send Reservation to DHCP Server" and choose a DHCP server from the DHCP server dropdown, but it would be nice to order the DHCP servers how you'd like. In our case, IPAM always lists the secondary DHCP server first in our failover cluster and not our…
Dear SolarWinds, I have customers, which are using IPAM heavily and are having multiple subnets inside the IPAM. When you have CIDR 19 or even CIDR 12 supernets and mutliple IPv4 subnets, it is starting to be difficult to create new subnets. We do have safe check in IPAM that will tell me that my proposition for new subnet…
Dear SolarWinds, There is already a feature request for including containers (subnet/supernet/site) in the search function: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/IPAM-Feature-Requests/IPAM-SUBNET-SEARCH/idc-p/604441#M1306 What I would like to ask is the ability to select multiple individual IP addresses as well as…
It would be nice if IPAM could show a search result based on Subnet range detail instead of showing every IP address as the result. I cover about 500 offices and it would also be nice that if I type the name of the office on the search that it would give me all SUBNETS associated with that office instead of every IP…
Dear SolarWinds, We have noticed that the search function in Manage Subnets & IP Addresses view is only finding individual IP addresses and it is not working for containers such as IPv4 Subnet, IPv4 Supernet, IPv6 Site or IPv6 Subnet. We are able to partially find IPv4 Subnets, because those have individual IPv4 addresses…
