IN IPAM there must be an option to select all ip's having hostname, or Multiple select option
The MacPrefix table appears to be missing OUI Prefixes for Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and as a result my IPAM vendor field is showing the following as "unknown". Can we get the following OUIs added to the list or a way added for end users to update their own OUI to vendor field mappings. 00:26:92 Mitsubishi Electric…
Hi, For security reasons we have multiple servers where the ICMP protocol is disabled and because IPAM only uses ICMP to detect devices, these servers aren't listed now Would it be possible to extend the scanning options with RDP protocol ? As this is open for all servers Thanks, Daan
With the significant growth in Cisco Meraki utilization and their own DHCP server, it makes sense to increase the IPAM functionality to scan the DHCP scope information from these appliances.
Hi, Currently by design Solarwinds only does DNS lookups to the DNS server that is in the same domain of the Solarwinds server As we have >20 child domains, currently almost no DNS Hostnames are resolved which is unfortunate. Would it be possible that we can also use the DNS servers of child domains to get most info?
Enable ability for Orion IPAM module service account to be able to monitor (without actively managing/updating/administering) AD-integrated DNS server, so that we are not required to grant DNS Admins role/membership in AD.
We often split up an existing /24 subnet into smaller subnets to assign different VLANS. I'd like a way to split an existing subnet into smaller subnets (longer CIDR), with a warning if the reserved broadcast addresses needed for the new subnets are used. Example: Start with a 10.10.10.0/24 and divide into 10.10.10.0/25…
Much like interface, CPU, and memory utilization % can be charted over time within NPM, it would be extremely handy for us to be able to see our subnet and scope utilization over time in IPAM. We would be able to see how the address space changes in each network and plan/react more appropriately as needed. It would help to…
When viewing DHCP addresses in IPAM, the IP Address Details page does not indicate which DHCP server the IP belongs to. We split a /24 between 3 DHCP servers for cold standby redundnancy. It would be really cool if you could view which DHCP server the IP is assigned to, as well as having a link to that DHCP server in the…
