I am working with the IP Address Management tool to keep track of all our IP addresses. IPAM will not work due to a firewall between our main database and the polling engine and IPAM does not run on a polling engine. Anyway...
In Solarwinds I have several Nexus 7000 switches being polled with SNMP v3. When I try to poll them in the IP Address Management tool with the very same v3 credentials, I don't get anything back. I am looking for the machine type, system name and location. I have tried to use the IP Network Browser and get the same results.
Is there a problem with the toolkit and SNMP v3 settings or is it something to do with these being Nexus switches?
