Building a new front end.

I am looking at rebuilding my front end server. Currently I am running a 10.2 NPM server and connecting it to a second machine on the backend running SQL 2005. The SQL machine will not change, I just need more horsepower on the front end. Suggestions on this? My plan is pretty straight forward:

Shut down SW services on the application server.

Free up the licenses.

Power the system down.

Power up the new system (different name but same IP address)

Install 10.5 NPM and license it.

Run config wizard and point it at the old DB.

Thoughts?
