We have been using solarwinds virtualization manager for a and we are very happy with it! However....
We have recently noticed that it doesn't seem to detect/monitor hardware of the host. We recently had a disk fail in a RAID group but didn't notice it for ages. VMware knew that the disk was bad and we could see it though the Configure | Health Status but there was nothing in solarwinds.
Is this right? Can this be fixed somehow? Am I just doing something stupid?
