I have created an Orion account with the sole intended purpose of viewing reports. I want to set the account up so that when it logs in, it only has visibility of the built-in "AllReports.aspx" page. (example: http://solarwinds.contoso.com/Orion/AllReports.aspx)
I can't seem to find any way to set this. The best I can do so far is to create a custom view that shows specific reports, and set that as the home page for this user. This will be a pain to administer as new reports are added, since I'll have to edit the user's view every time.
Any suggestions?
This should be done by setting up a user and custom view like below: There should be no need for you to update the View/User after this. As new reports are made they will be available for the user to use. You can put the Custom Reports in Column Two, or make it a One collum page and increased the collumn width.. the rest is up to you how you want it
Thanks mmelton. It's still not 100% what I'm looking for, but it works fine for my purposes.
Thanks for your help on this!
Also checkout Directlink. See "Using the DirectLink Account" in the NPM Admin Guide, P364:

"Enabling a DirectLink account allows you to make direct hyperlinks to specific web console views available to individuals who do not already have Orion Web Console user accounts. Any URL referring directly to an NPM web page bypasses the login screen, logging the user into the DirectLink account"
