Adding ESXi 5 Device

Question

I am trying to add our new ESXi 5 device in SolarWinds, so it can be monitored. I've enabled SNMP on the ESXi device, but when I go into SolarWind's web portal to try and add it, I run into issues. When I add the node, I can specify it by name or IP address, but it fails to past the SNMP authentication but passes the VMWare Poll Settings. I've double-checked everything, and the spelling is right for everything. I've attached a screen shot of the SNMP authentication failing.

What I believe you configured on your ESXi host was SNMP traps. ESXi doesn't support SNMP (get/set) methods of collecting information. This is handled through VMWare's API. You can change the node to an ICMP only node and enable "Poll for VMWare" to proceed with adding this host.
