name, PID, CPU, Phy Mem, Virt Mem and Disk I/O (!YEA!), but then when you look at the monitored processes, you don't get Disk I/O :(
It would be really cool to have Disk I/O recorded too.
We're glad you really like the Real-Time Process Explorer. Hopefully this feature will help make troubleshooting a little easier for engineers everywhere. As for adding Disk I/O information to SAM, this is something that can already be done today by monitoring the appropriate Windows Performance Counters or WMI objects. Simply start the "Find Processes, Services, and Performance Counters" wizard and browse for the disk statistic monitors you'd like to monitor.
I do know you can get the info from the wmi counter and you could probably get the counter for a single process, but it wouldn't be tied together as cleanly as it would if SW added it as part of the product.
The architecture that SW uses is so cool, because it allows you to do whatever you can think of, but it also nice to have some of it done without having to do the thinking.
Are you saying you'd like to see Disk I/O as one of the statistics collected by default for each process/service being monitored by SAM?
I think that would be useful information.
