Monitoring IBM AIX system hardware still not functional, displays as unknown and HP.
SAM 5.0 hardware support will be limited to IBM xSeries in this release. What you're seeing is a bug in beta 4 that should be addressed in the next build. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
If you discover an ESX host before you discover the VCenter host, the prior ESX host will not be included in the VCenter tree in the virtualization tab, they show as seperate entities
This is normal behavior. If you'd like to change the polling method to poll through vCenter so you can see your VMWare hierarchy as it's displayed though vCenter you can change your polling method through <Settings -> VMWare Settings> and change how the device is polled from the "Poll Through" pull down.
