Juniper / Netscreen Proprietary Virtual Interfaces

When adding our Juniper Netcreen firewall to UDT we are not able to see our Proprietary Virtual Interfaces.  I confirmed via packet capture that UDT does not walk the Juniper MIB for interface information "1.3.6.1.4.1.3224.9.1"  This is our Layer 3 device and is not mapping our intefaces in the UDT Search.  Thanks

    Hi,

Check to see if your Prop Virtual Interface Type is one of the Port (Interface) Types that are discoverable by UDT.

     (ie. Check UDT Advanced Settings)

The default Port Types for UDT include propVirtual(53), but perhaps the specific port type you need is something else, or propVirtual is missing from the list.

    UDT Port Types (default)

    • ethernet-csmacd (6)
    • propPointToPointSerial (22)
    • ppp (23)
    • propVirtual (53)
    • propMultiplexor (54)
    • fiberchannel (56)
    • fastEther (62)
    • fastEtherFX (69)
    • channel (70)
    • gigabitEthernet (117)
    • hdlc (118)
    • l2vlan (135)
    • l2ipvlan (136)
    • pos (171)
