Hi everyone – the IpMonitor team is hard at work developing a number of key enhancements:
1. Use Windows credentials for IpMonitor login.
2. Create a monitor and settings and deploy to a list of servers. This “templatized” deployment will save time and decrease the possibility of errors when deploying the same monitors to multiple devices.
3. Adding Printer MIB support!
4. Fixing several gauges bugs.
PLEASE NOTE: We are working on these items based on this priority order, but this is NOT a commitment that all of these enhancements will make the next release. If you have comments or questions on any of these items (e.g. how would it work?) or would like to be included in a preview demo, please let us know!
Please add support for non-MS browsers!
This is on the roadmap so keep an eye out.
Question about the 1st thing.
If you guys are workign on using Windows Credentials...does this also mean that each user will have the ability to customize the home page to there liking per profile or will everyone still see the same thing across the board?
This isn't on the roadmap. Will put in the list though.
... but I really hope, these points will come in the next update!
They where on list since 10.5 or earlier and then some 'less useful' enhancements made it ;)
There is a maintenance release, which *will not* contain those things listed in the what we are working on post, but don't fret.
ok, thx for the info!
Is there an ETA for the 10.5.1 release?
how about a real calendar option for alerts. i am sure a huge % of your customers have oncall rotations and the current calendar is woefully inadequate.
better yet allow import/export via outlook or sharepoint calendars. would make things so much easier. no way to do an oncall rotational alert right now that changes constantly each week. really poor calendar implementation and i would definitely expect more from a leading product like this.
