Unable to protect service FTPSVC because Service FTPSVC was not found on computer '.'.

Hi,

We're seeing a few entries in our log files for services which aren't running, e.g.

Unable to protect service FTPSVC because Service FTPSVC was not found on computer '.'.

How can we stop it trying to protect services that aren't there?  I can't find anywhere in the config that's telling it to monitor 'FTPSVC'.  Also I presume computer '.' means something like 'current server'?  Could it perhaps be a little more clearer about that?
