How do I import a Visio network diagram.

Yes, create a new map in Network Atlas, set the backgroud to a JPG export from visio, then add the nodes onto the background in the correct locations

Thats a shame, so it's just a static background with objects placed on it.  It would be nice to of have each server sort of get highlight should it go down or a disk flask amber if there is a disk issue etc.

Yes, it is just static, but the objects show up/down status.

agreed, with Staurt.  If you want to get fancy or have too much time on your hands, you can create "icon" images to put over...see image

I created blade icons, port icons, switchblade icons, and switch icons, all in multi-colors for various status.  you can do the same for servers in a rack.

This is exactly what I need to do, where/how do I create these icons and import them?

Thanks for the icons.... I think I'm following the instructions correctly on getting them added but for some reason I'm not seeing them.

1. I copied the WMF files over to %APPDATA%\.,... location (C:\Users\NetworkMgr\AppData\Roaming\SolarWinds\NetworkAtlas\Maps\Orion\localhost\NetObjects\User Graphics\Icons\Computers)

2. I restarted network atlas....

and voila... I don't see them... I'm obviously doing something wrong... can you hel me?
