unknow status after restart

Currently Being Moderated

i have a weird problem that is i added about 30 nodes (all cisco switches) in NPM(v 9.1 sp5 slx) and they work fine till i had to shut down the server and start it again (i must to move the server to another place). and when i start server again all the nodes are in UNKNOWN status. and when i added a node in system manager again it start to work.

my config for snmp v3 is :

snmp-server view test iso included
snmp-server group admin v3 auth read test access 50
snmp-server user test admin v3 auth md5 test

anyone have any idea why its happened?

I had the same problem just now.  After a restart of the server 4 of my switches (all 2960's) had unknown status on all their ports.

    I'm also using snmpv3, and 9.1 SP4 SLX.

Had to re-add the four switches to get them working.  A database issue, perhaps?

Same issue running 9.5 SP3.  rebooting server and all nodes are respoding to ICMP but the interfaces are showing in an unknown state.  I can delete all 400+ nodes and re-add, but if server restarts, they come back in an unknown status.  All are Cisco Devices.   Also running NCM on same server and it is working perfectly.

      Anyone have any idea's  -

All services are running and have been restarted, no outstandint polls, CPU 8 x 3.0 Xeon with 12GB Ram.  SQL Ent 2005.  Database Size 144MB.
