Yup Great paper you put up Andy.  This is already really helping avoid the TMI problem.  Seems that pre-planning where you export from to satisfy specific requirements keeps everything easier to manage.

Network management can easily become "unmanageable" with the volumes of info that can be gleaned from the tools we have available these days.

This doc is really helpful with understanding this info.

I'm glad i found this as I'm just about to purchase the netflow module for orion - saves me vital reading time trudging through mountains of guides.
